A 21 person of the Shenzhen Arts Troupe from China will visit Brisbane on 5 December 2007 to present Echoes of Hometown - Music and Dance Concert at Queensland Conservatorium Theatre.

Shenzhen is a Sister City of Brisbane.  Te celebrate ten years anniversary of Brisbane-Shenzhen Sister City relations and 35 years of Anniversary of China-Australia Diplomatic relations, Shenzhen City Municipal Government has specifically organised the Shenzhen Arts Troupe to visit Brisbane to present Echoes of Hometown – Music and Dance Concert for Chinese communities in Brisbane.

The troupe consists of the most talented youth performers from Shenzhen, who have won many awards of the national and international music and dance competitions.  In more than two hours of performances, the artists from Shenzhen will present very attractive programme of traditional and modern Chinese music, songs, dances and magic. 

Shenzhen is a modern and the most economic powerful city in China.  With rich and diversified cultural life, advanced scientific and technical research and the most dynamic economic development, Shenzhen is ont only one of the most attractive cities in China, but also in the world.  The show of Echoes of Hometown will echo the Shenzhen city itself certainly - full of colour, creative, dynamic, vivid and, of course, busting with youthful vigour!

It has to be mentioned as well that 6 charming local Chinese musicians from very popular Silk Girls Ensemble in Brisbane will participate the performance along with the Shenzhen artists at the Echoes of Hometown that will make the show even more attractive to the local audience.
